Is Mars Move-In an NFT, crypto or an investment?
Written and reviewed by Mars Move-In · Updated October 5, 2026
No. There's no blockchain, token or wallet. You pay a normal card payment for a display spot on a map, which anyone can take over. Oxygen Credits only buy plots and can't be cashed out. Don't buy a plot expecting to make money.
No blockchain, no tokens
Payments go through Stripe in US dollars. Ownership is a record in our database, not a token you hold in a wallet.
Not an investment
There's no marketplace to sell a plot. When you're taken over you get Oxygen Credits worth your habitat's value, which only buy plots on Mars Move-In.
Not land on Mars
Under international space law nobody can own land on Mars. A plot here is a spot on our map, nothing more.

A plot is the right to show your habitat, logo, name, link and address at that spot on the map while you hold it and the service runs.
Oxygen Credits are what you receive when your habitat is taken over. They pay for your next plot and have no cash value.
Mars Move-In is an interactive digital colony built on real Martian coordinates, where people and brands claim a plot, build a habitat and get their own Mars address.
